History

  • Principals of STS represent the shipping interests of a fourth generation ship-owner and operator with more than 100 years of family history in shipping
  • They trace their origins in the beginning of the 20th century when Cpt. Christos Lemos became the co-owner and Captain of the first Steamship owned by Oinoussian seafarers, Marietta Ralli
  • His sons, George, Michael & Captain Leon Chr. Lemos followed on his footsteps and established G. Lemos brothers in 1946 in London with the purpose of owning and operating dry bulk vessels
